Welcome to the STAR Web Site

 

This site is for district STAR coordinators. The site was developed and is maintained by Educational Testing Service (ETS) under contract with the California Department of Education (CDE). The CDE has contracted with ETS for the development, administration, scoring, and reporting of the California Standards Tests, the California Modified Assessment, the California Alternate Performance Assessment, and the Standards-based Tests in Spanish.

The purpose of this Web site is to:

  • Provide district STAR coordinators with access to calendars, directions, and requirements for the current year's program.
  • Provide access to forms, instructions, and other documents that are needed to coordinate the STAR Program within school districts.

02/11/13STAR training videos are now available on the STAR Training Videos Web page.
01/03/13See your school district's Pre-ID cutoff dates by selecting the Test Admin Summary link in the "Test Administration" area, "VIEW" section, of the left navigation bar in the STAR Management System. Each test administration has its own Pre-ID deadline.
11/30/12The Pre-ID and Extended Pre-ID Data Corrections modules of the STAR Management System are now available.
07/23/12The Test Administration Setup module of the STAR Management System is now available.
08/06/10The District Coordinator Orientation prerecorded Webcast is available for viewing.
