No. The CAPA test assigned to the student by the individualized education program (IEP) should be either the grade-assigned CAPA level or CAPA Level I.

To which CAPA level should a student be assigned if the student is older than typical for his or her assigned grade level?
A student should be tested at the CAPA level that corresponds with his or her assigned grade level or take the CAPA Level I test if it is specified in the student's individualized education program (IEP).

How often may a student in grade eleven retake the CAPA?
All students enrolled in grade eleven must participate in a statewide assessment unless exempted by their parent(s) or guardian(s). A student in grade eleven will keep taking the CAPA until attaining grade twelve or 22 years of age.

No. However, students who have scored proficient or advanced on all CAPA content areas for two years in a row may take the CSTs or CMA if their IEP specifies that they should take the CSTs and CMA instead.
